• Kim Nelson was born in the south coast of New South Wales within a farming family. From an early age Nelson showed a precocious talent for drawing and creativity.

• At age 17, at the suggestion of his uncle, spent a year at the prestigious School of Julian Ashton Art Sydney, which would be his only artistic training. Later, he embarked on different artistic fields from graphic design and advertising via musical composition becoming an accomplished vocalist

• Since he graduated from the career of Fine Arts in 1996, several exhibitions have taken place, thus completing the same work commissioned by many organizations ranging from the National Fund of Australia to the editors of Pan MacMillan or mogul Rupert Murdoch media

• Kim Nelson is committed to using their talents to help others, contributing their generosity and their art to many large and small organizations and humanitarian institutions such as UNICEF, Australia, Hope for Children (Rotary International), AMACC (Afghanistan Mother & Child Care), Koomarri Canberra, Smith Family, NSW Volunteer Bushfire Brigade, CanAssist along with numerous local groups and fans.
